{ Dainty Details }

Welcome back everyone!

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, which means time to bust out everything pink and red for date night! After looking through my closet, I realized I don’t own much pink clothing since it’s not one of my favorites. So I went shopping for a few pink items that I can use throughout the year.

As most of you know, I have become obsessed with the Poshmark app, where you can buy and sell clothing, shoes and accessories.Β  There are so many great pieces to choose from, and I love helping out fellow girlfriends looking to earn some extra cash.

I saw this dress and loved the dainty rose pattern but I was hesitant because I really don’t like velvet! I got it in the mail and instantly fell in love, it’s so soft and fits perfectly. I liked the dress enough by itself, but I wanted to add an extra pop of color with this bright pink sweater knotted at the waist.

This necklace is so pretty, I love the black and silver detailing. It can be worn with anything from a dress and heels to jeans and a tee.

I love this bright pink sweater, perfect for the winter weather when layered over a long sleeved tee. Also perfect for spring because the material is lightweight enough to wear the sweater by itself.

This ring was a Christmas gift from my mom, and the first piece of jewelry I’ve owned that has my birthstone in it! I love how dainty it is, I’ve never been a fan of wearing chunky rings and this one holds special meaning for me.

Sweater: Old Navy // Necklace: Sassy Lemon Boutique // Dress: Target // Heels: H&M

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

|| Big Buns ||

This messy bun has been my go-to hairstyle lately. All it requires is my hair straightener, a few bobby pins and of course, hairspray!

I’m a fan of big messy curls so this look was easy to achieve. I started by curling big sections of my hair when it was already dried. Once it was all curled, I took the front section and combed it back, securing it with a few pins.

Once the top was pinned back, I tucked the bottom pieces underneath. This created the messy bun look. I secured the pieces with bobby pins and some light hairspray!

This style is so easy and fun to create, it’ll definitely be on repeat this Spring!
