Hi everyone and happy fall! It’s officially my favorite time of year, even though Mother Nature didn’t get the memo. With highs in the upper 80’s this weekend, I chose an outfit that has fall feels but is lightweight and can be worn in warm weather.
I found this skirt while thrifting the other day and I absolutely had to have it. Of course there was no tag on it so after hunting down a sales associate and bothering him, I found out it was $5! I was so excited, it’s a size too big but with the belt it’s a perfect fit.
This chambray shirt has been a staple in my closet for the past few years. You can’t have too many of them, they’re perfect for layering in the fall under a sweater or with a cardigan over the top. The necklace has been worn on repeat throughout many blog posts, but it’s so pretty that I can’t help myself!
This hat is from Old Navy a few seasons ago, but they have cute ones in this year and there are other cute options at Target, Forever 21 and H&M.

Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share a simple classic look with a pop of red. I’m going to start dressing like it’s spring until warm weather actually arrives!
I’m wearing a white button down with a red chunky sweater over the top, and my new favorite pair of jeans from Target. The white button down is a go-to piece in my closet, I love the crisp look and the soft feel of this shirt.
The sweater was a gift from my mom two years ago, and this is the first time I’ve worn it! I’m obsessed with the color and I love that it buttons down the whole front. I love the way it looks layered over the white shirt. The jeans are new from Target, I found them on clearance for $8! I was so excited, and I’ve been wearing them on repeat for two weeks now, they’re the best pair of jeans I’ve ever owned.
The necklace is from Charming Charlie, and I love the bright pops of pink and red for Valentine’s Day, but let’s be honest, this necklace is gorgeous year round! Last but not least, the tote bag is from a craft fair I went to before Christmas. I fell in love with the bag at first sight and had to have it. The bag was made by a woman that lives in my hometown, I linked her etsy shop at the bottom of the page, be sure to check it out!

Happy Saturday! The weekend is finally here, and it’s a frozen snowy one. I have another holiday look today featuring a gold lace dress. While I froze my butt off in the snow to get these pictures, it was completely worth it.
I got this dress last year for Christmas, and I’m obsessed with it. I love that it’s strapless, I love the gold color and I love anything lace. It’s perfect for Christmas parties or even for New Year’s! I paired it with a vintage fur coat and nude pumps for a classic winter look.

Enjoy your weekend!
Happy Sunday Funday! I hope you’re all having a great weekend. I was on vacation this past week for my birthday and it was wonderful. I got to sleep in, take a road trip and spend some time with my family. I start working again tomorrow in a new position at a location and I’m so excited! Big things are happening over here so stay tuned. I have a simple look today featuring another plaid shirt and a fur vest, and of course a chai latte from Starbucks!
I got this vest a few seasons ago at a thrift store, it’s originally from Target. It’s so comfortable and literally matches everything in my closet.
I decided to go back to brunette for fall, the blonde was fun for summer but I’ve always liked my hair dark. I’m trying to decide what fun color to try next- any suggestions!?

Hi everyone! It’s almost fall and you know what that means, fall fashion! It’s my favorite season and I can’t wait for it to begin! I started prepping my wardrobe and sorting through my things to get a head start. Today’s look is autumn-inspired and features wide leg jeans, a pretty peasant top and a floppy hat. These are a few fall staples of mine, along with booties, plaid shirts, and scarves. What are some of your favorite fall staples!?
Thanks for visiting! I hope you all have a great rest of the week!

Hi, everyone! I hope you’re all having a fabulous week. When I first saw King Ranch Saddle Shop, I was so excited. Being a lover of country music and southern fashion, I knew I would have so much fun creating a southern-inspired look.
When I think of country style, I think of plaid, button-downs, lace, and I can’t forget cowboy boots!

How amazing are these boots!? I drooled the first time I saw them, I absolutely love the color and the embroidered details. This is by far my favorite pair of boots on the site. Shop them and tons of other gorgeous boots here: Women’s Boots. Ladies, we can’t forget about the men in our lives! King Ranch Saddle Shop also has a great selection of men’s boots to check out here: Men’s Boots!
Here are some pieces I would pair with the turquoise embroidered boots. Who doesn’t love an easy off the shoulder boho dress? These options are from She Inside and there are lots of other great places to shop for southern inspired pieces.
Have a great day!
Happy hump day! I’m glad this week is half over, it means I’m that much closer to my weekend off! Although there are six inches of snow on the ground, I refuse to get any of my winter clothes back out.
This week’s look is a combination of two classics, a striped tee and denim overall shorts. I found them along with the fedora while thrifting about a year ago. I remember living in overalls when I was a kid. They’ll never go out of style!
Hats go with any outfit, especially cute springy ones like this fedora. Straw hats are my new favorite closet staple for spring and summer. They can be found almost anywhere, and you can never have too many!
