I can’t believe it’s already fourth of july weekend! For this look, I’ve chosen a fun and simple outfit that’s perfect for the summer heat.
I snagged these shorts last year on the clearance rack at Target and have only worn them once. I love the little embroidered flowers and the fact that they are elastic waist, they’re so comfortable! I also got the sleeveless shirt at Target last year, I bought it in 3 colors and love the light weight material for the summer weather. The bag was sent to me last summer by Charming Charlie, and it’s the perfect accessory for the fourth!

Hello everyone! It’s been a crazy season for me, but thankfully the fall semester is wrapping up and Christmas is rapidly approaching. (Which reminds me, I should start my Christmas shopping!) This is the first big snowfall we’ve had in Rochester, NY this season and that’s not a complaint. Though I love warm weather and sunshine, winter means wearing extra layers and bundling up to keep warm. This week I went for a vintage look with a modern twist, pairing a tweed coat with trouser pants.
I found this vintage bag at Saver’s thrift store, and fell in love with the tweed material. Since my purses are usually more like suitcases, I knew it was perfect for me! The leather gloves were a lucky find at a barn sale, and I recently found a few more pairs at different thrift stores and church sales.
These earrings are from Charming Charlie and are an easy, simple way to add sparkle to any outfit. They are also perfect for the holidays or for any special occassion.
These bracelets are all thrifted, I love pairing the old leather watches with sparkly gold to make it appear more sophisticated.
This veiled hat was love at first sight for me when I spotted it at a thrift store. I love the vintage old-school look to it.
