Happy Friday!

I can’t believe it’s already fourth of july weekend! For this look, I’ve chosen a fun and simple outfit that’s perfect for the summer heat.

I snagged these shorts last year on the clearance rack at Target and have only worn them once. I love the little embroidered flowers and the fact that they are elastic waist, they’re so comfortable! I also got the sleeveless shirt at Target last year, I bought it in 3 colors and love the light weight material for the summer weather. The bag was sent to me last summer by Charming Charlie, and it’s the perfect accessory for the fourth!

Modern Vintage

Hello everyone! It’s been a crazy season for me, but thankfully the fall semester is wrapping up and Christmas is rapidly approaching. (Which reminds me, I should start my Christmas shopping!) This is the first big snowfall we’ve had in Rochester, NY this season and that’s not a complaint. Though I love warm weather and sunshine, winter means wearing extra layers and bundling up to keep warm. This week I went for a vintage look with a modern twist, pairing a tweed coat with trouser pants.

Three

I found this vintage bag at Saver’s thrift store, and fell in love with the tweed material. Since my purses are usually more like suitcases, I knew it was perfect for me! The leather gloves were a lucky find at a barn sale, and I recently found a few more pairs at different thrift stores and church sales.

These earrings are from Charming Charlie and are an easy, simple way to add sparkle to any outfit. They are also perfect for the holidays or for any special occassion.

Six

These bracelets are all thrifted, I love pairing the old leather watches with sparkly gold to make it appear more sophisticated.

Two

This veiled hat was love at first sight for me when I spotted it at a thrift store. I love the vintage old-school look to it.

Last weekend, I stopped at Charming Charlie to spend my birthday coupon. I immediately fell in love with the plaids, horseshoes, and colors in the Equestrian collection. I settled on two scarves, a plaid one from the Equestrian collection and one from the Midnight Blooms collection. The next day, I received a box in the mail from Charming Charlie with new products from both of the new collections! Everything I had been looking at in the store was packaged in this box. Today I am sharing some new items from their Equestrian collection that combines navy, orange and cream colored pieces.

I am obsessed with this orange clutch! It comes with a removable strap and has lots of pockets inside. This bracelet is also a new favorite of mine, I love that it’s adjustable and I love the color scheme!

hi

My vest is a thrift store find, and it’s reversible which makes me love it even more. Vests are a fall staple in my closet, and can always be carried into winter.

7

These are the first pair of heels I ever bought from Target, I’ve had them for about four years now and I still love them.

6

My mom hand knit me this skirt a few years ago, and I knew it would go perfectly with this collection. (Thanks, mom!)

4

I love the color of these earrings, the deep orange matches the fall foliage. They will definitely be on repeat this season.

There are so many other pieces from this collection that I adore. I will definitely be wearing items from this collection throughout the fall and into the winter!

When Charming Charlie reached out to me to be a brand ambassador, my first reaction was “Is this real life!?!?!?” I may have screamed and jumped up and down a few times…but who wouldn’t? I opened the box, realized that it was boho chic, and thought “Can I pull this off?” As I started putting pieces together, I fell in love with the style and couldn’t wait to try it all on! The pieces are easy to mix and match, or can be worn all together. This is such a fun collection!

This fringe sweater is easily my favorite piece from the collection. I can think of so many ways to wear it in the summer and in the fall. I like that it’s lightweight and it’s perfect to throw on for a breezy day. I can also see it being worn in the fall with a pair of tall boots and chunky leg warmers!

boho14

I love this breezy peasant top because it can be dressed up or dressed down. Light and cool for the summer and perfect for layering in the fall.

Since I am growing my hair out, these lace headbands are perfect! They’re easy to wear with any outfit, and they add a little bit of girly to any outfit. (Plus, they keep my hair under control!)

boho1

boho9

These feather earrings are so fun, and I love the gold color. The “ear cuff” is actually an adjustable ring, but style is all in how you wear it!

boho7

boho8

These midi rings are easy and fun, they look cute stacked or worn separately!

boho6

boho5

As far as the bangles go, the more the better. Mix and match not only colors but textures too. I threw in my personal style by adding a vintage gold watch and a gold bracelet.

boho3

These fringe boots are a thrift find, originally from the girls’ section at Target. I also added a fun pair of gold feather earrings to the front of the boots!

There were so many pieces, I couldn’t possibly fit them all into one blog post. Get ready to see more ways to style items from the Abbey Road Collection throughout the fall. I’m not done with this collection yet!

Grunge Glamour

I can’t believe that fall is almost here in New York.. it seems like summer just got here! Fall is my favorite season, I live for chunky sweaters, layers, and riding boots. This week I am showing a sneak peek into my fall wardrobe with ripped jeans, a military jacket, and booties!

7

9

I got these booties on clearance at Target a few months ago.

5

My mom ordered me this shirt from an Etsy shop, and it instantly became one of my favorites!

2

Whenever I wear ripped jeans, my dad always says “Hey Em, there’s a hole in your pants.” They just don’t understand, ripped skinny jeans are a closet staple. Comfortable, stylish, and edgy all in one pair of pants, who could go wrong!?

6

This military inspired jacket is a recent thrift store find. It’s from the boy’s section at Saver’s, and I love it because it’s oversized and can be layered when the weather gets colder.

10

I found these aviators at a barn sale last year, and forgot about them until recently. Now I wear them almost every day!

4

This beanie is also a recent find from American Eagle, it’s currently on clearance.

Polka Dot Picnic

Hi, everyone! This week’s thrifted look: Retro meets Patriotic. You can’t go wrong with red, white and blue!

pinup3

These white skinny jeans were a steal from Delia’s. They were only $15 and they’re my first pair of white pants. They have been on repeat all summer!

pinup1

I found this polka dot sleeveless top at Goodwill, originally from Forever 21. I like it because it knots at the bottom, and fits longer than most other crop tops.

pinup8

I am sad to announce that I am growing my hair out (and very slowly I might add). It has officially hit the awkward stage of the grow out process, so headbands and hair accessories are essential. I am pretty proud of the broccoli sprout sticking out of the back of my head though! 🙂

pinup7

My arm party is all from Charming Charlie, my favorite accessory store. I usually shop during their clearance sales, buy one get one free!!

pinup4

These red pumps have been a staple in my wardrobe throughout the spring and summer. Everyone feels fancy in red heels, right?

pinup2

I found this straw bag at Saver’s for $2.00 brand new! It holds everything necessary for a picnic or a beach day.
