Happy New Year everyone!

I took a road trip down to Atlanta, Georgia for a concert to ring in the new year. Exploring the new city was fun but hectic, I’m not used to so many people in one area! The city has so many amazing spots to eat, grab a coffee, and shop. I’d love to come back when the weather is warmer.

I packed lightly since I’m only here for a few days so I grabbed some simple items from my closet, including this long sleeve tee and distressed jeans. The weather down here is unseasonably cold, I’ve actually heard it’s the coldest weekend in years. This outfit was perfect for the weather and for staying comfortable while driving around the city.

These ripped knee jeans I bought from Target earlier in the year are so comfortable and versatile. Distressed denim is a must have in every wardrobe!

These leopard mules are one of my new favorite pairs of shoes, they’re so comfortable and go with everything in my closet!

Have a great week!

Happy Monday!

Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share a simple classic look with a pop of red. I’m going to start dressing like it’s spring until warm weather actually arrives!

I’m wearing a white button down with a red chunky sweater over the top, and my new favorite pair of jeans from Target. The white button down is a go-to piece in my closet, I love the crisp look and the soft feel of this shirt.

The sweater was a gift from my mom two years ago, and this is the first time I’ve worn it! I’m obsessed with the color and I love that it buttons down the whole front. I love the way it looks layered over the white shirt. The jeans are new from Target, I found them on clearance for $8! I was so excited, and I’ve been wearing them on repeat for two weeks now, they’re the best pair of jeans I’ve ever owned.

The necklace is from Charming Charlie, and I love the bright pops of pink and red for Valentine’s Day, but let’s be honest, this necklace is gorgeous year round! Last but not least, the tote bag is from a craft fair I went to before Christmas. I fell in love with the bag at first sight and had to have it. The bag was made by a woman that lives in my hometown, I linked her etsy shop at the bottom of the page, be sure to check it out!
