♡ Be Kind,Valentine ♡

Happy Monday!

Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share a simple classic look with a pop of red. I’m going to start dressing like it’s spring until warm weather actually arrives!

I’m wearing a white button down with a red chunky sweater over the top, and my new favorite pair of jeans from Target. The white button down is a go-to piece in my closet, I love the crisp look and the soft feel of this shirt.

The sweater was a gift from my mom two years ago, and this is the first time I’ve worn it! I’m obsessed with the color and I love that it buttons down the whole front. I love the way it looks layered over the white shirt. The jeans are new from Target, I found them on clearance for $8! I was so excited, and I’ve been wearing them on repeat for two weeks now, they’re the best pair of jeans I’ve ever owned.

The necklace is from Charming Charlie, and I love the bright pops of pink and red for Valentine’s Day, but let’s be honest, this necklace is gorgeous year round! Last but not least, the tote bag is from a craft fair I went to before Christmas. I fell in love with the bag at first sight and had to have it. The bag was made by a woman that lives in my hometown, I linked her etsy shop at the bottom of the page, be sure to check it out!

+ Overall Style +

Happy hump day! I’m glad this week is half over, it means I’m that much closer to my weekend off! Although there are six inches of snow on the ground, I refuse to get any of my winter clothes back out.

This week’s look is a combination of two classics, a striped tee and denim overall shorts. I found them along with the fedora while thrifting about a year ago. I remember living in overalls when I was a kid. They’ll never go out of style!

Hats go with any outfit, especially cute springy ones like this fedora. Straw hats are my new favorite closet staple for spring and summer. They can be found almost anywhere, and you can never have too many!

Cozy Canal-side

Hi, everyone! This winter has been a little crazy, especially the weather we’ve been having in Upstate New York! It’s only snowed a few times, and it’s been warm and mid 40’s which is very strange for this time of year. No complaints from me, though! I love the warmer weather. The sunny day we just had gave me the chance to wear some new pieces I recently bought!

I bought this ‘G’ sweater for two reasons. One, because my last name starts with a ‘G’ so I figured it was made for me. The other reason is because it’s so soft and comfortable and I love that it can be layered under and over different pieces.

The plaid shirt is new from Kohl’s, because there’s no such thing as too many.

I fell in love with these jeans at work and had to snag them off the clearance rack! I love distressed anything, especially denim. Who doesn’t?!

These are easily the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, and the color goes with everything in my wardrobe.

Varsity Charm

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you’re all having a great week. I have another look to share with you, featuring a cute varsity inspired sweater  I recently bought. This casual look can be carried from summer to cooler fall weather using these versatile pieces.

This sweater is perfect for fall and I love the olive color paired with a navy gingham button-down!

This rosette necklace was a steal at Wal-Mart for under $10! I always remember to check their jewelry department for more great finds. The bracelets are from Charming Charlie, and they come in an assortment of colors. I love the olive and wine color combo!

This Charming Charlie clutch is to die for (like all of their others!) and it’s a great transition piece from summer to fall.
